Healing isn't just about feeling better; it's about getting better at feeling—and using that insight to build a life you truly love.

Meet Wendy

Hi, I’m Wendy Gorelick, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathic, and practical—I believe that healing happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My style is warm, direct, and authentic, creating an environment where we can do meaningful work together.

My Approach

My path to this work wasn’t a straight line—it was a scenic route with plenty of elevation changes. I transitioned into this field later in life, bringing a career’s worth of "real world" experience and the hard-earned wisdom that comes from navigating my own seasons of struggle.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to face major transitions, and to wonder if things actually get better. (Spoiler: They can.)

What It’s Like to Work With Me

In our sessions, you can expect a space defined by kindness and unwavering support, but I don't believe in just nodding along. I bring a high level of authenticity and directness to the room; I’ll tell you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, because that’s where the growth happens. We will use deep insight to untangle the "why" behind your patterns, and we’ll definitely use humor to lighten the load along the way—because sometimes, you just have to laugh at the messiness of being human.

The "Off-the-Clock" Me

When I’m not in the therapist chair, I’m practicing what I preach by staying grounded in the things I love. You’ll usually find me:

In the kitchen experimenting with new recipes (and occasionally over-seasoning them).

On the yoga mat or getting lost in a good book.

Recharging at the beach with my dog or having a good meal with friends or family.
